National Geographic Adventure Magazine
National Geographic Adventure Magazine recently honored Sea Kayak Adventures as one of "The Best Adventure Travel Companies on Earth" in the Paddling category 2009. The magazine's editors analyzed 250 adventure travel companies for factors such as sustainability, local knowledge, quality of service, spirit of adventure and client satisfaction in ranking the travel outfitters.

Smarter Travel.com ranks our God's Pocket Resort as one of the Best New Adventure Trips of 2009. http://www.smartertravel.com/travel-advice/best-new-adventure-trips-of-2009.html?id=2768917&page=4

"In February 2009 while most of the US was freezing, we were enjoying a sea kayak adventure complete with warm breezes, desert scenery, crystal clear waters, whale watching, hiking, snorkeling, a heaven full of stars, great food, private campsites, competent guides and new friends. SKA's Sea of Cortez Combo delivered it all in Baja. From the minute we landed in Loreto until the final farewell dinner the adventure exceeded ALL our expectations. SKA offered the BEST vacation ever." - Ben and Karen Little

T-shirt sales support local conservation group -

SKA is giving half the money from our T-shirt sales in Baja to Grupo Tortuguero, a local conservation group working to save endangered sea turtles in Baja's Magdalena Bay. When you purchase a t-shirt from us at your farewell dinner, $10 will go towards supporting Grupo Tortuguero. Last April, SKA donated $1000 to Grupo Tortuguero. Several of SKA's Mexican guides, Charo and Vladimir, work with Grupo Tortuguero during our off-season in Baja.

We have partnered with Native Energy Travel Offsets to support programs to offset all the impact running our business does to the atmosphere. We paid them for projects such as wind power to offset our carbon emissions in 2009, and plan to do so every future year we are in business.

We're in the Globe and Mail!

Canada's National newspaper, the Globe and Mail, featured our Sea of Cortez kayak tour in their adventure travel section March 28.

Scenic Cove Getaway

Space is available on our April 19 to 25 Baja's Sea of Cortez kayak tour. It is the perfect blend of kayaking, hiking and snorkeling in Loreto Bay National Marine Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take advantage of cheap air as airlines have recently resorted to slashing fares to boost demand. As well, book your 2010 Baja tour before July 1 for early bird rates.

"My husand and I have never kayaked and just returned from the best vacation we ever took! We loved sea kayaking in the Sea of Cortez with yoga every morning and evening. Great food, great guides and lots of fun! Camping on the beaches under clear starry skies after a day of paddling and snorkeling was almost magical. I am recommending Sea Kayak Adventures to all my friends." Marsha Johnson - March 2009
