Johnstone Strait -

Whale Money Shot! 4 or 6 days, July to September
An incredible environment for sea kayaking with killer whales, Johnstone Strait in British Columbia's Inside Passage is a sheltered, glacier-carved waterway between the northeast coast of Vancouver Island and the snow-capped mountains of mainland British Columbia. Johnstone Strait is home to Robson Bight, the world's only orca preserve, making it the best place to kayak with orcas in North America.

Our popular lodge-based kayak tours in God’s Pocket Provincial Park in Queen Charlotte Strait are designed for those who wish to experience sea kayaking without having to camp. New Conservation Tour -
We started out in 1993 as an adventure travel company sharing our love of adventure and nature with our guests. Over the past 17 years we have evolved into a sustainable eco tour company promoting responsible travel and protecting the environment by hiring and developing local guides well versed in natural history and vital conservation issues, providing funds for local conservation projects, and helping our travelers make a positive difference. Getting to Loreto -
If you are thinking about joining us in 2011 for a Baja tour - we strongly encourage you to book now! Flights to Loreto on Alaska Airlines are limited and filling fast already, especially for departure dates in December, February and March. By last October, most flights were already sold out and sadly many people could not get to Loreto. Don't wait much longer to make your winter/spring vacation plans because you will not be able to get to Loreto. Call us for travel advice at 1-800-616-1943.
Is it safe to travel to Mexico? -
In view of headlines about violence along the U.S. border, many people are wondering about the safety of visiting Mexico. Keep in mind that Mexico is a big and diverse country, so violence along the U.S. border towns won't have any effect on your vacation in Loreto any more than violence in Miami would affect people in Chicago. Most of the violence that has taken place recently is due to conflicts between drug cartels and the Mexican authorities. As a tourist in southern Baja, 700 miles south of the border, you can have a tranquil, relaxing vacation so long as you use the normal precautions you would in any other vacation spot. Hundreds of Americans and Canadians who visited Loreto this past winter and spring were enjoying their vacations with no hassles or problems.
