IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO PADDLE WITH ORCAS IN BC CANADA'S INSIDE PASSAGE THIS JULY & AUGUST

- Johnstone Strait, part of the Inside Passage off northeastern Vancouver Island, is famous for its 250 resident salmon-eating orcas, exquisite beauty and sheltered inner waterways near Robson Bight Orca Preserve (the world's only orca preserve). Novices are welcome, we provide all gear and instruction needed, and tours are led by BC registered sea kayak guides.

- Participants paddle leisurely three to four hours per day on the lookout for bald eagles, leaping salmon and pods of orcas. Also known as killer whales, these striking black and white mammals are actually more akin to dolphins.

- The trip highlight is witnessing a pod of orcas surfacing and blowing near your sea kayak - Paddling along with a six-foot dorsal fin rising and sinking next to your kayak is an experience you will never forget. Kayakers camp on secluded island beaches where they can even watch these gentle, playful, sociable resident whales from their tents.

LODGE BASED SEA KAYAKING TRIPS AT GOD'S POCKET SUMMER 2009 -

Our lodge-based 6-day kayak trips at God's Pocket Resort are big hit with our guests, especially the gourmet meals and wildlife sightings. WHERE THE MOUNTAINS MEET THE SEA -

Prime dates still available for Alaska mothership trips aboard the Ursa Major. The Ursa is a six passenger, three stateroom ship. Nancy and Terry just returned from a week long trip and less than 1/2 an hour into their first day they spotted gray whales, humpback whales, sea otters, Steller sea lions and bald eagles! The ship's captain reports that the herring runs are strong, increasing your chances for abundant and diverse wildlife sightings. Call us for details.

SUMMER IN BC AND SPRING BREAK IN BAJA – ONE CHILD GOES FREE! if booked by the summer solstice on June 21

- Moms and Dads - Don't want your teens to be bored this summer or next spring break? Learn to paddle a stable double sea kayak with your teenager this summer in Canada's Johnstone Strait or spring break 2010 in Baja's Sea of Cortez.

- Departing July 12, August 2 and August 9,2009 in BC and March and April 2010, we are offering four to six-day fully guided sea kayaking trips for families with teens age 13 and older (must be at least 4'11" tall and 100 lbs). To celebrate their 16 years in business the company is offering one child per family to join the trip absolutely free. Other youth under age 18 get the normal youth rate of 10% off.

- Parents can relax and socialize while we prepare all meals and lead activities like nature hikes, games and paddle skills sessions with the teens.
