17th Anniversary
|
|
Its our 17th season of running sea kayak
tours and offering you the best in international wilderness kayaking adventures
as well as exciting new trips. To celebrate our anniversary, we are donating
$1000 USD to local conservation groups in Baja this month. Heres what
we are offering for 2010: |
Summer British Columbia Trips
-
|
| |
|
Our Classic Trip: Johnstone
Strait is internationally recognized as the best location in the world to
see orcas in the wild. The rugged beauty of its hundreds of islands, lush
rainforest, profusion of marine life, ancient sites of native culture, creates
a magical Canadian sea kayak experience reminiscent of an earlier time. Days
will be spent paddling this beautiful coastline and sharing the waters with
these impressive orca whales. Nights will be spent camping on island beaches
surrounded by luxuriant forests and the sound of orcas breathing.
|
|
Our Guides Favorite
Trip: Outside Magazine featured our
Wilderness
Islands trip as one of the best trips of a lifetime. Participants paddle
kayaks for six days among the sheltered bays and islands of Queen Charlotte
Strait, a wild archipelago full of humpbacks and bald eagles, with B.C.'s
snowcapped mountains in the distance. After dodging the whale flukes, seals,
and curious porpoises, they'll set up camps on the pebbly, driftwood-strewn
beaches of secluded islands like Bell, Hurst, and Nigei.
|
|
Our Most
Comfortable Trip: Adventurers who prefer to sleep in a lodge instead of in a
tent can join one of our six-day kayak trips at
God's
Pocket Resort. The lodge is on a remote island in the heart of God's Pocket
Provincial Park near northern Vancouver Island. Each day, guests paddle kayaks
through the park's waterways and islands, looking out for whales, porpoises and
eagles. And each evening, they'll return to the lodge for hot showers and
delicious dinners.

Fall Baja Trips - |
|
We always
encourage Fall Baja bookings for a number of reasons. The months of October
& November offer great kayaking and camping in
Loreto
Bay National Marine Park because the weather is great with air temperatures
warm enough to sleep out under the stars and calm days with no wind, but other
boaters and tourist have not arrived. Whats more, the water temperatures
are at their peak; you won't need a wet suit to go snorkeling and there are
hundreds of colorful reef fish to observe close to shore. Dolphins cruise close
to shore as well, and you'll probably see pods of up to 100 individuals putting
on an aerial display. This is our quietest, most peaceful time of the season on
the water and the kayaking is superb. These
Sea of
Cortez Quick Adventure trips are motorboat-supported so you can paddle a
light kayak and have a cold drink at the end of the day. |
Loreto to La Paz Expedition
November 2-13, 2010 - |
|
|
A challenging
ten-day sea kayak expedition along a rugged roadless coastline between
Loreto
and La Paz. Great for the adventurous paddler desiring to experience a
remote area few people see.
