Joe Dupont

Joe first met kayaking on a cold day as autumn leaves fell from the trees in Vermont. Hypothermia couldn't dampen his enthusiasm for kayaking and river life and he spent most of his late teens and 20s guiding and paddling rivers in Appalachia and his home state of Maine.  Life led Joe away from the water for a few years to work as a private investigator in San Francisco.  However, it didn't take long before Maine's calling tugged at his heartstrings and he returned to the east coast to start a sea kayaking business in Casco Bay.  Now, with his kids off to college and his sailboat safely harbored, Joe has launched a new adventure to explore exciting blue horizons with Sea Kayak Adventures.
