We are super excited to announce that our new sea kayaking and mountain hiking adventure, Compelling Corsica, launching later this year, was named one of National Geographic Traveler magazine’s 2015 Tours of the Lifetime! This award is the first for ROW Sea Kayak Adventures.
Now in it's 10th year, the 2015 list features 50 of the world's best-guided trips chosen by the editors of National Geographic Traveler. The magazine explains that "the 50 best guided tours selected this year offer authentic travel experiences that are sure to leave participants engaged and ensconced in culture.” The acting editor in chief from the magazine, Norie Quintos, states that these "...types of immersive and experiential trips have only multiplied; tours are going farther and deeper than ever before." And we couldn't agree more!

Compelling Corsica combines sea kayaking in the deep blue waters of the island, exploring coves and sea caves in the Gulf of Porto, and trekking a segment of the Grande Randonnée 20 (GR20),
a legendary long-distance trail that runs north-south along Corsica’s granite spine, all fueled by local charcuterie, sheep-milk cheeses, and wine. The September departure will be led by our co-owner Peter Grubb.
A note from Peter: We are honored to have our fabulous Corsica adventure chosen by National Geographic Traveler as a "Tour of a Lifetime." We take pride in our extensive design process when orchestrating a new tour. We are eager to share the wild island of Corsica, which I personally scouted last year, with our guests. This beautiful Mediterranean island is a relatively unknown destination in France, and this trip blends meaningful and authentic cultural interchange with active adventure.
