Baja Sea Kayaking & Whale Watching Guide

Growing up in Northeast corner of Mexico, Lorena has always had a curiosity for the marine life that surrounds Mexico. When she turned 18 she moved to Baja to learn more about marine biodiversity and went to college to study alternative tourism in La Paz.

This is her third season at Sea Kayak Adventures and loves spending her work days living outside and sharing about the marine life of Baja. In the off season she works in Cabo Pulmo National Park as a snorkeling guide. In her free time Lorena loves scuba diving, free diving, and hiking.

"Wonderful whale watching/kayaking trip on Magdalena Bay with guide Fabian, Lorena and Capt. Tarran. Very well run trip, good food, happy hours. Top notch equipment. Very safety conscious. Lots of dolphin, bird and coyote sightings. Saw a few whales but we were probably a few weeks too early. Highly recommend!"

"I just did the 9-day Isla Carmen Circumnavigation with Sea Kayak Adventures. This was the 5th trip I've done with this company, and have always been very impressed by the guides and the planning involved. We had incredible interactions with birds, whales, dolphins, manta rays, etc., at times it felt like being in a nature TV show! Food was outstanding, despite a lot of paddling I gained more than 4 pounds on this trip! I was a bit apprehensive about camping and sleeping on the ground, but the sleeping pads were more than adequate. Of the 3 trips I've done with this company in Mexico, this was by far my favorite. Guides were absolutely the best--- Alejandro, Lorena, Tanya, Vicki and our panga boat captain Rudolfo!! I'm 74, and entering treatment for prostate cancer, and while you need to have some paddling experience, if I can do this trip MOST people can!!"
