Hannah Mehain

Hannah's love of kayaking began on a family trip to Desolation Sound in 2019. Inspired by the experience, she started spending her summers on the water and building her skills through courses and expeditions, and eventually started guiding in 2024.

A former member of Canada's cross-country ski team, Hannah brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm to the outdoors. She holds an Honours degree in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia and enjoys drawing, playing violin and guitar, and dreaming up her next paddling adventure. One of her favorite experiences is swimming through bioluminescent waters, another reason why she loves spending time on the coast.
