Michel Musto

British Columbia Sea Kayak Guide

Michel’s childhood was spent around a swimming pool as a competition diver and swimmer. Although his teenage years took him somewhere else, he bonded once again with water through whitewater kayaking a couple of years ago. He loved it so much that he went back to college and pursued a certificate in Adventure Tourism and Ecotourism to jumpstart his career in the outdoors industry. While his studies took place in the boreal forest and alpine tundra of the province of Québec, his career led him to guide: van based trips and hikes across Alberta and British-Columbia, sledding descents on the longest Austrian style sledding track in North America and sea kayak tours on the mythic waters of the Saguenay Fjord and the St-Lawrence river’s marine estuary. When he is not guiding, he most likely will be found on a hiking trail or somewhere else in the outdoors. What Michel enjoys the most about guiding is having people to share the wonderful experience of the outdoors with and you will definitely enjoy sharing that experience with him too.
