The MS Seaventure is an ideal ship for Antarctica. It has 1-A Super ice class rating which is the highest possible ice class awarded to passenger vessels. With this rating, the ship is able to travel into channels, bays and more remote coves that lower-rated ships cannot.
Thoughtfully designed, the MS Seaventure offers exterior facing rooms, with a few even including balconies. The common areas aboard the ship offer beautiful, calming and collaborative spaces. Some passenger-favorite features include the Citizen Science lab, fitness center, library, sauna and heated saltwater pool on the top deck! Important to us as kayakers, the ship has a lot of storage space which means kayaks and other gear for camping, etc. is available onboard.
Food on board is ample and delicious, prepared in the two kitchens, one of which is on the Lido deck and used when weather permits dining outside.
